CAROLINE MCPHERSON (BAhons)

Originally from Melton Mowbray, Caroline has always had a passion for art, drawing inspiration from many artists ranging from the impressionists, the abstract expressionists, modern artists, and in particular, their use of colour and texture within painting.

Caroline studied in Melton, Loughborough, and graduated from Bradford University in 1999 with a degree in Art & Design.

In terms of subject matter, Caroline’s artwork explores the inequalities found within every aspect of our society. In addition to this, the presence of nature within her artwork has provided inspiration and a metaphorical focus for the inequalities and struggles that humankind has inflicted upon itself and the planet we live in.
